TrustPower Community Awards

How to Enter a Voluntary Group

It is easy to enter a voluntary group or organisation for the TrustPower Community Awards - voluntary groups and organisations can even enter themselves!  Here you can find out how to enter your favourite voluntary group for the recognition they deserve.

The first thing you need to do is check when entries are being accepted in your region.  To do that just visit our Regions and Entry Forms page.

From our Regions and Entry Forms page you can either download an entry form or you can complete and submit an entry form online.  Entry forms are also available from any Council office or service centre during the period when entries are open in your region.

Once a voluntary group has been entered in the Awards we will contact them and ask for a little more information for our judging panel - we do this by asking them to complete an Information Form.  This is why it is important that you include a contact name and phone number for the group you are entering for the Awards.

Information Forms are available on the Regions and Entry Forms page.

YES - you can enter your own voluntary group.  If you are entering a voluntary group you are part of please complete both the Entry and Information Forms.

All Entry and Information Forms are sent to the city or district Council in your region, who collate the entries and organise for them to be considered by the judging panel.  For more information about the judging process please see the About the Awards page or download a copy of our Community Awards guidelines here.

If you have any questions about the entry process please call TrustPower on 0800 87 11 11 extn 0 and ask to speak to Community Relations.
