The Rotary Clubs are preparing for their annual book sale, which is being held from 3 - 6 April 2010 at the Satara Coolstores, Mount Maunganui. But to make the book sale a success, they need books! As well as books they are looking for donations of magazines, sheet music, records, cassette tapes, CDs, DVDs and jigsaw puzzles. The funds that are raised during the book sale are donated back to community projects, with last year's funds allocated to local groups such as Books in Homes, Arthritis New Zealand, Life Education Trust, DARE, Foodbank, Sailing for the Blind, BOP Volunteer Centre, Tough Love, Red Cross, Plunket and NZ Deaf Association.
