The National Awards are the highlight of TrustPower's Community Awards calendar. TrustPower's Community Awards programme is run in 24 regions around New Zealand. The Awards recognise and reward voluntary groups and organisations for the tremendous work they do in their community. Each year the Supreme Winner from each of the regional Awards attends the TrustPower National Community Awards. The 2009 TrustPower National Community Award Supreme Winner and Runner Up will be announced at an Awards night on 13 March 2009.
